Mezzo-soprano/Actress Claudette Hatcher performs frequently throughout the Puget Sound region. While she thoroughly enjoys opera, Claudette has been seen often in musicals and dramas, mainly Shakespeare. She has also appeared in independent and short films.
Upcoming Performances2/27/12 – The Seattle Opera has invited Claudette Hatcher back to sing in chorus of Puccini's Turandot this summer. Turandot will have only 7 performances: Aug 4, 5, 8, 11, 15, 17 18, 2012.
12/20/11 – Claudette Hatcher will be returning to Tacoma Musical Playhouse for third time as Church Lady Darlene in the upcoming regional premiere production of The Color Purple! Showtimes are March 9 – April 1st, Friday and Saturday at 8pm, Sunday at 2pm. Recent Performances12/16/11 – Invited by Cyndi Thompson, director of Shakespeare in the Parking Lot’s Henry IV, Claudette Hatcher will be debuting with Redmond’s Redwood Theatre in their production of Never Too Late. Claudette will performing two comedic roles, Foley the Plumber and the Policeman. The show runs February 10-25th, Friday and Saturday at 8pm, Sunday at 2pm, with a preview on February 9th and an Artist Benefit Night on February 11th.
9/14/11 – Claudette Hatcher debuted with the Seattle Opera in their summer production of Porgy and Bess in the chorus with an Alto Solo part. See the video of rehearsals. Porgy and Bess ran July 30, 2011 and runs Aug 3, 6, 10, 11, 12, 14 (matinee), 19, 20, 2011.
